simon i don't think everthing about FB is like u have mentioned.Although i totally do agree with u about family and about some friends. and for those who write everyday about what they did is really very annoying.like u said i don't want to know what colour pants they are wearing or if they had iced coffee instead of black.i am a facebook user and my use for it is slighty different. i do enjoy reading your blogs.Although i find sometimes you are a bit hursh about some your ideas.i do agree with u about a lot of it.
I hate to request something that's already been requested, but I am hoping you can update the textmarker app. I am a public school teacher, and we have used that add-on to make research more expedient and honest. It is a fantastic resource, and it's easily the best highlighter for firefox. I would also be willing to make a donation to you or to your favorite charity for the work you do. These types of add-ons can help schools save money as well by showing them that there are very beneficial alternatives to proprietary software. Even if you don't update, thank you for making the original version possible.

TextMarker should be simple to use, right? Just mark your text, and hit M. I did that, repeatedly...nothing. And yes "Use keyboard shortcut" is checked.

Dear Simon, many thanks for your TextMarker! 0.3.4 that works very well even with the newest firefox-5 . Would be very fine, if You could add an free placeable Icon (View Menue of fx) that on LMB does the same to a selected text area what the sequence RMB on the selected area + choose the line in the pop-up menue with "Highlight This Text" + LMB this command line does at present: highlighting the background or de-highlighting if the text is already highlighted or extend the highlighting if the selection area is larger than an already highlighted part of the selection. It would be a great relief to enable one-hand mouse operation. Since the end of firefox 2.0.0.20 there is no more any plugin that can provide this.

Can you please make an option, to save the marks on pages ? so that when I open the page next day, I see the marks as I marked them yesterday ?
This would be great feature, of course, in the settings, you would allow clearing the saved marks ..
What do you think ?
