A Donkey Walks into a Bar

When my kids are sad or moody I make a face and tell this joke:

A donkey walks into a bar. The barman says, “Why the long face?”.

Initially this joke was met with curiosity and soon they would forget their mood.

It worked for sometime.

But now when I start telling that joke they just get annoyed thereby elongating their faces further.

Yeah, I need some new jokes.

Long face, good one, have to try it on my kids!

    Heard one work just now...

Guy entering heaven asked the guardian of the gates, what are all those millions of clocks up there on the wall and why are they all telling different times?

Guardian said, everyone has a 'lie clock' in heaven, every time they tell a lie the second clock moves one second, so we can reward those who haven't lied much accordingly...

Guy observed a crack where a clock in wall had been ripped off wall. 'Whose was that clock, a person who never told lies???' They said, "No, that was Julia Gillards clock, (our Australian PM) God now has it in his own office, he uses it as a fan!"

You might tell this to a Maldivian audience replacing Gillard with Anni perhaps??????
