1- the fat salary and other benefits I will get as a member of parliament
2- the enormous influence I can exert on issues that have my personal interests
3- the red passport I am entitled to posses
4- that I can be above the constitution and the laws of the Maldives
5- that I can not be tried in any court of law in the Maldives for the things I say in the chamber
6- that I will be allowed to bring anything into Maldives coz my luggage will not be checked at the airport
7- that my membership cannot be terminated or no action can be taken against me even if I don’t turn up the Majilis sessions for one whole term
8- that I can say and do anything I wish in the chamber
9- that I will be entitled a minimum pension of Rf25,000
10- that I will still be the “izzaiytheri memberu” and “rayyithunge khaadhimu” despite all my actions
